The VILs February Social Gathering!

Join us as we get together on Monday, February 18th at 1:30 p.m. There will be snacks, beverages, games (cards, dominoes, sheepshead, CLR, Golf, etc.) Come for fun and fellowship. Bring a friend.

March “Gathering of the Green”

Wear something green to our March potluck luncheon. We’ll meet at noon...enjoy a tasty lunch then hear from our own Rod “O’Eissens” about his recent trip to Guatemala with the Thrivent Habitat for Humanity program. Make reservations by calling the church office at 452-2401. Let them know what you can bring for the luncheon. March 17th at 12:00 p.m. Leprechauns welcome!

April Spring Event

April will feature a catered luncheon by Jumes. Menu will include hot ham and beef sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw, fresh vegetables, bread, rolls, beverages and desserts. Cost $10.00.

After lunch we will hear a presentation from Pastor Steve Farwig on the work of First United’s Foundation Fund. Come and hear how First United reaches out with aid and assistance to a variety of worthy people and causes. Learn, too, about living wills, health care power of attorney, and other matters of interest to those 55 years and older. Call the church to make reservations.

☐Yes, interested in Fireside Theater matinee presentation of Cole Porter’s “Anything Goes.” Dinner, show, transportation estimated at $75 per person.

☐Yes, interested in Milwaukee Museum exhibit “Body Worlds” Using the groundbreaking process of plastination, the “Body Worlds” exhibit showcases nearly 200 real human specimens and more than 20 whole body plastinates, so that visitors can better understand the intricacies, vulnerabilities and wonders of the human body. Estimated cost for exhibit, lunch, transportation is $45 per person.
