VILs to see movie on March 24

Plan to join the VILs for an “afternoon at the movies” on Monday, March 24. Please come to the Genszler Room for a 2:00 p.m. showing of the DVD of “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”. During the showing of this fun movie, popcorn (popped in our very own popcorn machine) will be served. After the movie, we will be able to enjoy pies and coffee. If you are able to call the office and let us know if you plan to come, we’ll be sure to have enough pie for everyone. See you at the movies!

If you need a ride, please call the office and we’ll arrange a ride for you.

Mark you calendars for Fireside Christmas Show December 13

Our VILs are going to the Fireside for a delicious meal and the always enjoyable Fireside Christmas Show on Saturday, December 13. You can sign up now in the office for this popular holiday outing. The cost will be $65 per person, which includes the motor coach, gratuity for the driver, the meal and the show at the Fireside.

Join us for a trip to Milwaukee on April 28

All VILs and their guests are invited to our first road trip of 2003 when we go to Milwaukee on April 28. Our first stop will be a tour of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, including the history, art, liturgical functions, and outreach of the cathedral. Then we will visit the Basilica of St. Josaphat This basilica is patterned after St. Peter’s in Rome and is a place of pilgrimage and special devotion as well as a Franciscan center for prayer and spirituality. After our visit to the basilica, we will enjoy lunch at the Old Town Serbian Gourmet House, which is opening up especially for us on a Monday. The menu will feature spinach burek and chicken paprikash with apple strudel for dessert.

After our meal, we will see the display at the Domes before we possibly stop at Kopp’s on our way back to Sheboygan.
The cost for this outing is $40, which includes everything but your treat at Kopp’s. Please sign up today by calling the church office at 452-2401. We’ll depart at 8:30 a.m. and return late afternoon.

We’re off to the Chicago Botanic Garden on May 19
