In April: Deaconess Deb’s Spiritual Journey

The next get-together for our VIL group is set for Monday, April 16, at 9:30 a.m. Join us for sweet rolls, coffee and orange juice! As we share our continental breakfast, we will welcome Deaconess Deb Ganser as our guest speaker! Deaconess Deb will present information about her time of sabbatical as well as her experiences with her Spiritual Formation program. Please call the church office to let us know you will attending - we want to make sure we have enough refreshments on hand! Also, please let the church office know if you need a ride to the program!

A potluck on Monday, May 21!

On Monday, May 21, please join us for a potluck luncheon at noon in the Fellowship Hall. You’re invited to bring a dish to share for our meal, and
following our meal there will be a presentation by Al Loth on People-to-People’s special relationship with Los Ninos. Los Ninos is a non-profit organization based in Chula Vista , California , whose main mission is to help children and their families in the Tijuana area. Los Ninos offers a connection between our two cultures as we learn more about the traditions, the history, the politics, and the daily lives of our neighbors.

Please call the church office at 452-2401 to sign up and please let us know if you are able to bring a main dish, salad, or dessert for the potluck.



VIL Summer Picnic in June

Monday, June 18, we will gather for our annual summer picnic. The traditional Brats and hamburgers will be served, and afterwards there will be games and Pastor Sandy Jacobs has agreed to call the bingo game! Please make sure this date is on your calendars so that we may celebrate summer together!

Presently no plans are in place for the months of July and August, but we are gathering ideas now for the fall!
