VILs to view
"The Quest for Immortality"

The VILs will have the opportunity to travel by motor coach to the Milwaukee Public Museum on Tuesday, June 22, to tour the exhibit "The Quest for Immortality: Treasures of Ancient Egypt." The VILs will be welcomed, given an overview of the exhibit and served refreshments upon arrival at the museum. They will then view the
I-Max film, "Mysteries of Egypt". After the film, they will enjoy lunch in a private, Egyptian-themed museum setting. Then, they will be able to tour the "Quest" exhibit, the largest exhibit of ancient Egyptian artifacts to ever be assembled in North America.
The cost for this day will be $52. Please plan to depart from church at 9:15 a.m. We have space - invite your friends!!

VIL lunch cruise on Lake Michigan
Monday, August 16
The VILs are planning a special treat this year on the traditional date for our picnic. We will enjoy a two-hour cruise on Lake Michigan, which includes a light lunch. The cruise ship departs at noon from in front of the new Blue Harbor resort. (Boarding will probably begin about 30 minutes before departure.) The cost is $29 per person. Call the office today to sign up for this fun outing!

Tour of B'hai House of Worship
Lunch & Tour of Botanic Garden
September 20
We will travel to Chicago on Monday, September 20, for a guided tour of the B'hai House of Worship and the opportunity to learn about the beliefs of this group.
Our next stop will be at the nearby Chicago Botanic Garden. We will have lunch, take the Grand Tram tour of the grounds and then have a chance to spend time walking in the beautiful gardens. The cost will be $40 per person and will include transportation, gratuity for the driver, lunch and tour at the garden. The tour is limited to 45 people, so if you are interested, please call as soon as possible to sign up.

In October, we'll hold a potluck lunch at church.

In November, we will celebrate our annual harvest dinner.

Boston Pops Christmas Show
December 8
Our VILs are going to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton on Wednesday, December 8, to attend the Boston Pops Christmas show. We have reserved 45 seats, so please call the office as soon as possible if you are interested in going. The cost of $84 per person includes the motor coach, gratuity for the driver, and tickets to the show. We will depart from church at 5:30 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. performance.
We may plan to have a light supper here at church before we depart. More details will be announced later.
