October 17 - A Potluck Dinner and a Presentation on the 60 th Anniversary of D-Day

Monday, October 17 , all VILs and their guests are invited to share in a potluck luncheon and a special program in our Fellowship Hall. Our guest speaker will be offering a presentation on the 60 th Anniversary of D-Day following our meal. Carol Edwards visited historical battlefields as she retraced her father’s footsteps from his time of service with the 508 th Airborne group during WWII. Our meal will begin at noon, with this fascinating program to follow. Please call the church office if you plan to attend and let us know if you are able to bring a dish to share (either a main dish, a salad, or a dessert.) Please join us!

Harvest Dinner on November 7th

On Monday, November 7, VILs will celebrate the Thanksgiving season as we share our annual Harvest Dinner at City Streets at noon. A wonderful feast will be served with entertainment to follow! The cost of the meal is $11 per person. Please drop off a check at the church office to reserve your place before November 2. As with any VIL activity, please be sure to call the church if you need a ride to the event.

The Sights and Sounds of Christmas

On Thursday, December 8, the VILs will meet at 1:00 p.m. at the Sheboygan County Historical Museum to view the holiday displays. Catch the Christmas spirit as we walk down memory lane at the museum, and then return to church for fellowship time and refreshments at 2:30 p.m. The cost is $4 per person, unless you have a membership at the Museum. If you wish to car pool, please meet at church at 12:45 p.m. Please bring a plate of cookies or bars to share at church! Contact the church office to sign up!
