Summer Story Hour

The Children’s Ministry is offering Story Hour for kids ages 3-6 years old on Wednesday mornings, starting on June 6. The Story Hour will be held in the Great Beginnings classroom each Wednesday beginning at 9:30 a.m. and will last for one hour. The kids will be read a story and then participate in crafts, finger songs and free play. Sign-up sheets and registration forms are located in the church office and on the Youth & Family Board. All Middle and High School students - First United has the great privilege of seeing one of its own congregational members, Pres Hoffman, ordained into the ministry in a special service here at First United on Saturday, May 19, at 3:00 p.m., and you are invited! Please consider joining us for this very special service!

Confirmation Camp
June 24-29

Parents of Confirmation Campers...
Camp takes place the end of June, and a health form and more details regarding camp will be coming to you soon in the mail. I am encouraging each family to travel separately to camp if at all possible, as well as picking up your child the following Friday. This is a great experience for your child, and it gives you an opportunity to see them off; and on Friday you can share a meal and a farewell worship service that gives you a flavor of what went on during their week. We plan on leaving First United at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, as a caravan of cars and vans. If you are unable to take your child to camp, please let the church office know, so that we can make transportation arrangements.
