Youth Gathering 2006

All youth who will be in grades 9-12 in the fall of 2005 are invited to attend the 2006 ELCA National Youth Gathering in San Antonio. It’s time to start planning and we need to find out who is interested in attending. Our fund-raising will begin this summer. If you have any interest at all, please sign up in the Youth & Family Area.

Attention High School Graduates

This is an exciting time of your life! The congregation of First United wishes to congratulate you on this exciting chapter in your life and we wish you God’s blessings for the future. As your home congregation, we would like to help you celebrate this special event. We invite you and your parents to attend the 9:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday, June 5, so that we may honor your accomplishments. Please plan to wear your cap and gown and meet in the Chapel/Genszler Room at approximately 9:00 a.m. prior to the service, so that we can assemble for a group photograph. Graduates will process in together at the beginning of worship, and be introduced during the worship service. We invite you to send or bring a graduation wallet-sized picture to the church office by May 29 so that we may display them. We congratulate you and hope you will join us for early worship on Sunday, June 5, at 9:30 a.m. May God continue to bless you as you prepare for graduation and for the future!
