Vacation Bible School

On Monday, July 24, a Youth & Crew Leader training session, with the Lead Teachers, is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Volunteers are still needed for certain areas. Please see the volunteer sign-up sheet located in the Gathering Area. If you are unable to make it, or have questions, contact Mary Gorges for more information.

On Thursday, July 27, from 9:00 a.m. till 12:00 noon, and on Friday, July 28, from 1:00-4:00 p.m., we will set up for VBS. We are asking volunteers to help set up and decorate the sanctuary and classrooms. We are also looking for donations of decorations that would tie into our theme of FIESTA! If you have Mexican sombreros, maracas, blankets, or any other items, please contact Mary Gorges.

And, if you have not registered your child for this year’s VBS, please do so as soon as possible as it helps our teachers plan their week’s activities. Registration forms are available in the Gathering Area or in the church office.

to sign up for this year’s Vacation Bible School! In fact, we’ve enclosed a registration form in this issue of the Good News! Just fill it in, and bring or mail it to the church office!

We still have openings...

Great Beginnings still has openings for 3 and 4 year olds, and our Christian based program allows parents to choose any number of days per week to attend. To take a tour of the classrooms, or for more information about Great Beginnings Preschool, please contact the church office.
