Fall Festival

First United will open its doors to the congregational children and their friends for our Fall Festival on the afternoon of Friday, October 26, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Come join us for an afternoon of fun! There will be Autumn crafts, Fall foods, and games and activities for all ages. Mark you calendar for this fun-filled afternoon, and remember, there is no school that day, so all the kids can come and play!

High School Mission Trip

Meeting September 24 at 6 p.m.

We have 8 student spots and 3 adult spots available for a June 14-22, 2008 , Mission Trip through the Appalachia Service Project (ASP). Applications, information on the trip and the organization and costs will be available at this meeting. Registration deadline for all applications is October 31, 2007 . Student applications will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.

SHANTYTOWN

On Friday, September 14, the youth of First United spent the night in Shantys made of card-board as a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity. These overnight experiences also highlight the cold reality of homelessness here in Sheboygan and worldwide, and our need to act as Christians in mission.

Crop Walk

Confirmation 7th and 8th Graders and families will be participating in the Sheboygan Area CROP Walk on Sunday, October 24, at 1:00 p.m. at Deland Park . Pledge forms will come home in early October with your student. Please contact Thom Nicla if you do not receive one.
